1. Morgan Morgan Marker

Inscription. Morgan Morgan, a native of Wales, established his home at Bunker Hill before 1732, and was leader in Eastern Panhandle’s early development. His sons gave name to Morgantown, and fought in Indian and Revolutionary Wars.

Erected 1966 by West Virginia Historic Commission.

Location. 39° 20.115′ N, 78° 3.186′ W. Marker is in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, in Berkeley County. Marker is on Winchester Pike (U.S. 11) north of Old Mill Road, on the right when traveling north. Click for map. Marker is in this post office area: Bunker Hill WV 25413, United States of America.
