1. Louisiana State Memorial
The front of the monument has the inscription "Louisiana - July 1,2,3 - 1863." The sculptor for the monument was Donald DeLue, who also worked on the nearby Mississippi Monument.
 
Inscription. (Front Marker Stone):
This memorial was erected by the State of Louisiana to honor her sons who fought and died at Gettysburg July 1-2-3, 1863. In particular it memorializes the 2300 infantrymen of Hays and Nicholl's Louisiana Brigades, the cannoneers in the Washington Artillery of New Orleans, and those in the Louisiana Guard, Madison and Donaldsonville Artillery Batteries.

Location. 39° 48.178′ N, 77° 15.35′ W. Marker is near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in Adams County. Marker is on West Confederate Avenue, on the left when traveling south. Click for map. The work of Donald DeLue is rather evident comparing at the feet of the soldiers on the Mississippi and Louisiana monuments.
