1. Five Mile Run Marker
 
Inscription. In French and Indian War this run was avoided because of fear of attack by hidden Indians. Name changed to Meadow Run 1808.
 
Erected 1932 by State Education Department.
 
Location. 43° 21′ N, 73° 41.567′ W. Marker is in Queensbury, New York, in Warren County. Marker is on Lake George Road (U.S. 9), on the right when traveling south. Click for map. Marker is located on the west side of the road, in front of the parking lot for Great Escape Amusement Park. Marker is in this post office area: Queensbury NY 12804, United States of America.
