This tree is planted as a living
memorial to the faculty and students who
lost their lives in the April 16, 2007
tragedy at Virginia Tech.

 
Erected 2007 by Clemson’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Services and F.A. Batlett Tree Expert Company.
 
Location. 34° 40.767′ N, 82° 50.217′ W. Marker is in Clemson, South Carolina, in Pickens County. Marker is on Calhoun Drive, on the right when traveling south. Click for map. "Clemson’s College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Services — in conjunction with Bartlett Tree Experts — will hold a memorial tree planting ceremony at 5 p.m. today on the green next to Tillman Hall, which will honor the victims of the April 16 Virginia Tech massacre."
