This site was designated a State Monument in 1956 and dedicated by the Honorable Earnest W. McFarland, Governor of Arizona, August 2, 1957.
Erected 1987 by Yarnell Wranglerettes, Inc, and Arizona Historical Society.
Location. 34° 16.851′ N, 112° 43.353′ W. Marker is near Yarnell, Arizona, in Yavapai County. Marker is on Arizona Route 89 at milepost 281.5, on the right when traveling north. Click for map.
