1. The Wayne Trace Marker
Inscription. General Anthony Wayne and the Legion of the United States passed this way on October 30, 1794, in route from Fort Wayne to Fort Greenville, ending the western campaign against the Indian Confederacy. The Legion spent the previous night camped 2.6 miles N.N.W. of here.
 
Erected 1977 by The Society of Indiana Pioneers. (Marker Number 01.1977.1.)
