This wooden marker was erected at this site in 1989. It was the first marker placed by the newly chartered ECV Lost Dutchman Chapter No. 5917+4

To the Memory of Our Unknown Brothers

This monument was erected in 1939 by the Arizona Highway Department and ECV in turn received permission to add the marker.
