1. Old Settlers Triangle Marker

Inscription. In West Bend’s early days, this plot was a community gathering place. For over 90 years, the Triangle and the building which stood there were at the center of business, social and political life, and served as a meeting place for the old settlers. Through a gift from Community Trust, the Triangle is dedicated to the early settlers and leaders of the community.

Erected 1973 by Wisconsin Council for Local History and Washington County Historical Society. (Marker Number 99.)

Location. 43° 25.503′ N, 88° 11.016′ W. Marker is in West Bend, Wisconsin, in Washington County. Marker is at the intersection of North Main Street and North 6th Avenue, on the left when traveling north on North Main Street. Click for map. Marker is located on the point of the Triangle.
