"You'll Do Lobelia" was the first of several Jersey cows used in the advertising campaign of Bordon's Milk Company. Her success and popularity at the 1939 New York World's Fair led to appearances in a Hollywood movie and personal appearances throughout the country. Her caricature was also used in a cartoon. She was injured in an automobile accident involving her custom 18-wheeler known as the "Cowdillac" and was "put to sleep". She was buried at the Walker Gordon Farm.| | | | By Deb Hartshorn, September 22, 2010 | |
