1. Forbes Road Bouquet's Breastworks Marker
 
Inscription. The last base of General Forbes' army. After crossing nearly “two hundred miles of wild and unknown country,” the army entered Fort Duquesne on November 25, 1758.
 
Erected 1952 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Marker series. This marker is included in the Forbes Road marker series.
 
Location. 40° 27.599′ N, 79° 45.165′ W. Marker is in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, in Allegheny County. Marker is on Old Frankstown Road (Pennsylvania Route 2066) 0.3 miles east of Center Road, on the right when traveling west. Click for map. Located on the grounds of the Boyce Park Administration Building. Marker is in this post office area: Monroeville PA 15146, United States of America.
