Marker is located in Fort Washington Park, on a hill in the woods on the left side of walkway, just after the railroad tracks. 3. Marker in Fort Washington Park

The marker represents the western end of the fortification that included Fort Washington. The fort fell on November 16, 1776, and the British occupied Manhattan for the remainder of the Revolutionary War.

4. American Redoubt Marker

The marker is located in the woods in Fort Washington Park. No trail leads to the marker. The park can be reached from Riverside Drive near 181st Street via a footbridge over the Henry Hudson Parkway.

Marker is located on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. The George Washington Bridge can be seen in the background of the photo, behind the marker.
