Brigadier General
Tadeusz Kosciuszko
Born in Poland 1746. Fought in Revolutionary War
'Engineers' at Saratoga, New York, Charleston,
Yorktown, erected fortifications at West Point
Colonel and Adjutant to George Washington.
Congress, on 1783, for his services, made him a
brigadier general and extended him full
citizenship of the United States.
