1. Logans Town Marker
 
Inscription. Talgayeeta, a Cayuga Indian also known as Chief Logan lived here 1772. Logans sister Koonay married trader John Gibson here. Logans family was massacred by renegade whites at Yellow Creek in 1774. He then wreaked terrible vengeance on white settlers in Ohio Valley.

Location. 40° 41.896′ N, 80° 17.276′ W. Marker is in Rochester, Pennsylvania, in Beaver County. Marker is on Water Street west of Harrison Street, on the right when traveling east. Click for map. This historical marker is located in the park that is situated where the Beaver River empties into the Ohio River, on the Rochester side. The park walking trail follows the Ohio River and at the mouth of the Beaver River the park and walking trail turns and follows the eastern side of the Beaver River. This particular historical marker is located near the mouth of the Beaver River, and just north of the railroad bridge that crosses the Beaver River. Marker is in this post office area: Rochester PA 15074, United States of America.
