1. Horace O. Davis Marker
Inscription. This building is named for Horace O. Davis whose dedication and estimable service to the USS Alabama Battleship Commission enhanced the memories of the personnel, who served aboard the USS Alabama and the honor of the people of the Great State for which she is named. Mr. Davis was appointed to the commission in 1963 and served as vice chairman and chairman dedicated this 7th Day of October, 1981.
