1. St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Marker
Inscription. This church in modified federal style was built in 1821 as the Eighth Presbyterian Church. From 1842 until 1856 it was the house of worship for St. Matthew's Protestant Episcopal Parish, becoming St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1858.
 
Erected 1965 by The New York Community Trust.
