Inscription. This Morristown Green was given by the trustees of the Presbyterian Church in Morristown to the trustees of the Morristown Green in 1816 to be held in trust.

4. First Presbyterian Church
This church was founded in 1733 and rebuilt several times. Washington attended services here when he was in Morristown. Many Revolutionary War soldiers are buried in the church cemetery.
