Inscription. This fountain is dedicated by the Woman’s Relief Corps Number 9, Department of Kansas, Auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic as an enduring memorial of perpetual service to the living, in loving remembrance of Comrade Robert S. and Mary J. McFarland
