Additional Description: Namesake of the Stephen D. Lee Chapter, U.D.C., General Lee (no relation to Robert E. Lee) was the youngest general to fight for the Confederacy. As Captain Lee, he delivered the ultimatum from Brig. Gen. P.G.T. Beauregard to Maj. Robert Anderson ordering him to vacate Fort Sumter on April 11, 1961.
