1. French Cemetery Marker
Inscription. This simple cross is thought to mark the burial place of about 50 unidentified French soldiers killed during the Siege of Yorktown.
 
Erected by Colonial National Historical Park, National Park Service.
 
Location. 37° 12.362′ N, 76° 31.664′ W. Marker is in Yorktown, Virginia, in York County. Marker is on Historical Tour Drive, on the right when traveling north. Click for map. Marker is located on the Yorktown Battlefield in Colonial National Historical Park, at stop I on the Allied Encampment Tour. Marker is in this post office area: Yorktown VA 23690, United States of America.
