Erected 1921 by the Lincoln Circuit Marking Association and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
 
Location. 39° 48.032′ N, 89° 38.915′ W. Marker is in Springfield, Illinois, in Sangamon County. Marker is on East Adams Street west of Sixth Street, on the left when traveling west. Click for map. On East Adams Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets (Lincoln Square) on the "Wall of Placques" across the street from the "Old State Capital" building. Marker is in this post office area: Springfield IL 62701, United States of America.
