1. Black Horse Inn Marker
Inscription. Farmhouse home of Ebenezer Byram, one of Mendham's founding fathers. In 1742 opened as tavern to travelers. In continuous operation as hostelry over two hundred years.
 
Erected by Morris County Heritage Commission.
