1. Bethesda Church Marker
Inscription. Presbyterian. Began as "Hart's Chapel," about 1765. Mother of many churches. The present building erected 1944, stands 3/4 mile south.
 
Erected 2002 by North Carolina Office of Archives and History. (Marker Number G-67.)
