This regiment occupied this position from 2.30 p.m. to 4.20 p.m. April 6, 1862 and then moved around north side of Duncan Field.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 371.)
 
Location. 35° 8.27′ N, 88° 20.568′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road, on the left when traveling west. Click for map. Located in Duncan Field at stop four, Ruggles Battery, on the driving tour of Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
