1. General Moseley Baker Marker
Inscription. Commanded Co. D., First Regiment of Texas Volunteers at San Jacinto. A member of 1st and 3rd Congresses of the Republic and later a Brigadier General of Militia. Born in Virginia Sept. 20, 1802. Died in Houston, Texas Nov. 4, 1848. His wife Eliza Ward Baker. Died in Houston, Texas Feb. 4, 1849.
 
Erected 1936 by the State of Texas. (Marker Number 14984.)
