Location. 33° 58.194′ N, 112° 43.87′ W. Marker is in Wickenburg, Arizona, in Maricopa County. Marker is on North Tegner Street, on the right when traveling north. Click for map. Vulture Mine, where over $30 million in gold has been dug from the ground. He was the prospector and farmer who sold or donated much of the land where Wickenburg is now located. He was born in Holsterhausen, Essen, Germany. Clyde “Ross” Morgan created the bust. (Submitted on April 6, 2010.)
