1. Law Office Marker
Inscription. Samuel Southard, U.S. Senator, N.J. Governor, & Sec. of Navy, erected this building in 1811. Office of Gov. Vroom, 1817-1819 & Alexander Wurts, 1820-1881. Redesigned in the Greek Revival style by Mahlon Fisher in 1840.
