The aircraft manufacturer's name is misspelled on the marker, and should read "Curtiss."

on both sides of fuselage. Used
for airborne operations in
1945 to early 1950s.

 
Erected by 82nd Airborne Division Museum.
 
Location. 35° 7.831′ N, 79° 1.35′ W. Marker is in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in Cumberland County. Click for map. Marker and airplane are on display about 75 feet NE of the 82d Airborne Division Museum, Building C-6841, off Ardennes Street near Gela Street. Access is restricted due to Fort Bragg being an active military installation. Marker is in this post office area: Fort Bragg NC 28310, United States of America.
