This stone marks the site
of the old district school of
Acquackanonk
dating from 1693 to 1870
also known as
Nassau Hall Academy
(then two stories in height)
where boys prepared for
Princeton College
many of them becoming
well known ministers, lawyers,
judges and educators
Erected by pupils of Passaicís Public Schools
September 1926

 
Erected 1926 by Passaic Public School Students.
 
Location. 40° 51.344′ N, 74° 7.306′ W. Marker is in Passaic, New Jersey, in Passaic County. Marker can be reached from River Drive, on the left when traveling north. Click for map.
