One section, two guns, of this battery was in action here Monday April 7, 1862 until about 10.30 A.M.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 343.)
 
Location. 35° 8.755′ N, 88° 20.858′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker can be reached from Sherman Road 0.1 miles south of Cavalry Road, on the left when traveling south. Click for map. In edge of woods south of Jones Field, 50 yards east of Sherman Road, in Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
