Pond's (3d) Brig., Ruggles' (1st) Div., Bragg's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This regiment was engaged here from 2.30 p.m. to 4. 30 p.m., April 6, 1862. It then moved to the left and forward to camp of 3d Iowa.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 369.)
 
Location. 35° 8.3′ N, 88° 20.533′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Corinth Road 0.4 miles west of Corinth-Pittsburg Road, on the right when traveling west. Click for map. 60 yards north of road in woods off western edge of Duncan Field. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
