1. Bey's Boxing Camp Marker
Inscription. After managing Lightweight Champion of the World Freddie Welsh's nearby Health Farm, Madame Hranoush Bey ran a world-renowned training camp on this site. Gene Tunney, Sugar Ray Robinson, Floyd Patterson, Max Schmeling were among the famous fighters trained here.
 
Erected 2010 by Chatham Township Historical Society.
 
Location. 40° 42.564′ N, 74° 24.987′ W. Marker is in Chatham, New Jersey, in Morris County. Marker is on River Road 0.6 miles west of Passaic Street (New Jersey Route 647), on the right when traveling west. Click for map.
