1. Simon Kenton Marker
Inscription. Famed Indian fighter, associate of Daniel Boone and George Rogers Clark, soldier of the Revolution and the War of 1812 - Leading settler of the Mad River Valley, built his first home in Ohio a few hundred feet east of this spot.
 
Erected 1947 by the Clark County Historical Society.
 
Location. 39° 59.566′ N, 83° 48.203′ W. Marker is in Springfield, Ohio, in Clark County. Marker is on Urbana Road (Ohio Route 72) north of Ohio Route 334, on the right when traveling north.
