1. Looff Carousel Marker
Inscription. This is the oldest stander carousel in the world it was built by pioneer craftsman Charles I. D. Looff in 1895, and was installed in Slater park in 1910.

Open weekends April, May, June, September, October and daily in July and August. Available for party rentals call park office
 
Location. 41° 52.297′ N, 71° 20.612′ W. Marker is in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in Providence County. Marker is on Armistice Blvd. Click for map. RT.95 N or S take Newport Ave (Attleboro/Pawtucket exit) S 2.5 miles to Armistice Blvd. Left on Armistice Blvd. Approx 1.3 mi park on right. Marker is in this post office area: Pawtucket RI 02861, United States of America.
