Robert Taylor was born Spangler Arlington Brugh in Filley on August 5, 1911 and was raised in Beatrice. He appeared in 80 films from the 1930ís to the 1960ís and hosted the television series “Death Valley Days” in the 1960ís. Taylor died on June 8, 1969.
