| | | 1. Yuha Well Marker | | | Inscription. Used by the Kamias Indians who showed it to Anza's scouts on March 8, 1774. The second Anza Expedition passed here on December 11, 1775. Later an important water source on the trail from Yuma to San Diego. Marker series. This marker is included in the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail marker series. Location. 32° 42.954′ N, 115° 52.622′ W. Marker is near Ocotillo, California, in Imperial County. Marker can be reached from Anza Trail Road. Click for map. Marker is accessible by 4WD vehicles only.
