Dedicated to the personnel of the 460th Fighter Squadron – 348th Ftr Group – 5th Air Force
in glory and honor.
This unit was formed in New Guinea in 1944
as a special squadron in P-47 Aircraft
Completed missions to Japan from IF Shima
1945 in P-51 aircraft.

Dedicated May 1991
