Inscription. First settlement by Moravians in North Carolina, 1753; known also as Old Town. Church erected 1788. Town is 1 mile N.E.

Erected 1968 by NC Archives and Highway Departments. (Marker Number J-41.)

Location. 36° 8.55′ N, 80° 17.89′ W. Marker is in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in Forsyth County. Marker is at the intersection of Reynolda Rd.
