Location. 41° 9.607′ N, 85° 21.573′ W. Marker is near Columbia City, Indiana, in Whitley County. Marker is on De la Balme Road north of East Old Trail Road, on the left when traveling north. Click for map. This historical marker is situated near the north side of the road, affixed to a large stone, on a residential property, at a bend in De la Balme Road where the road turns from running north to running east.
