Location. 41° 2.926′ S, 71° 9.107′ W. Marker is in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro. Marker is on National Route 40 1.5 kilometers south of National Route 231, on the left when traveling north. Click for map. Marker is located at a turnout on the east side of route 40. The turnout has a magnificent view of Lake Nahuel Huapi with Bariloche and the Andes Mountains in the background. Marker is in this post office area: San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro (0)2944 458, Argentina.

San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche, is a city in the province of Río Negro, Argentina, situated in the foothills of the Andes on the southern shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake and is surrounded by the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
