Erected 1983 by The Hospital and Healthsystem Assoc. of PA & HG-AC.
 
Location. 39° 50.764′ N, 77° 12.598′ W. Marker is in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in Adams County. Marker is on Hunterstown Road north of Hounds Run, on the left when traveling north. Click for map. Marker is in this post office area: Gettysburg PA 17325, United States of America.

Additional comments.
1. My Grandfathers Farm
I cannot help but comment on the Monfort farm that was in fact, my Great Grandfathers farm during the Civil War. My Grandfather and my Mother were both born in that house. My Great Uncle Jacob took care of the place during the Battle and wrote a three day letter of the events happening.

I have in my possession a Confederate Saber that was picked up on the farm after the battle. I personally visit the farm every few years.
