9. 351st Bombardment Group Captain Benton F. Love, Jr.
a native of Texas, volunteered for service in the Army Air Corps in November 1942. He served with the 351st Bomb Group at Polebrook airbase in Northhamptonshire, England. At age 19, Ben flew as one of a few elite lead navigators being responsible for leading the entire bomb group to the target of the day. He completed 25 combat missions over an eight month period of combat duty
