1. Rainbow Lodge Marker
Inscription. Built in 1934 by Minnie Lee Vest, it was one of the first hotels on the Susanville – Red Bluff route. It is now owned by Dick McNeill and is the centerpiece of Rainbow Village. It served as a hotel for many years and is now home of “The Grey Squirrel” down stairs and a health spa above. It may have been a house of ill repute during Chester’s “Little Reno” days.
 
Erected 2007 by E Clampus Vitus, The Vigilantes Chapter No. 1911.
