1. Oak Home Marker
Inscription. Built in 1857 for Judge W.H. Kilpatrick. Used in Civil War as headquarters of General Leonidas Polk. Bought in 1866 by Mrs. Thomas Quincy Martin and occupied continuously by her descendants.
 
Erected 1970.
 
Location. 34° 56.247′ N, 88° 31.164′ W. Marker is in Corinth, Mississippi, in Alcorn County. Marker is on Fillmore Street (Mississippi Route 145) north of Bunch Street, on the right when traveling north. Click for map.
