1. Curtis Memorial Scientific Area Marker
Inscription. Professor of Botany at the University of Wisconsin. Noted ecologist and outstanding authority on the vegetation of Wisconsin. A founder of the Wisconsin State Board for the Preservation of Scientific Areas, and its first chairman, 1952-1955.
 
Location. 42° 59.636′ N, 91° 6.737′ W. Marker is near Bagley, Wisconsin, in Grant County. Marker is on State Park Lane, on the right when traveling north. Click for map. The marker is located in Wyalusing State Park. Park admission fees apply. The marker is located at the east end of the Wisconsin Ridge campground area.
