2. I went to Edward Kelley School from 1954 to 1959 when I lived off Old Placerville Road. I had many happy years there before I went to Jr. High School. Each time I come back home I go to visit the school. Thank you for keeping it so beautiful.
Many Thanks,
Penny Owen — Submitted April 19, 2007, by Penelope Busby England Owen of Knoxville, Tennessee. 3. I went to Edward Kelley School from 1948 to 1955. I learned a lot from Mrs. Fairbairn during those years. She taught eight grades in two rooms. She was a task master but a wonderful teacher. We began each morning with the Pledge of Allegiance, we prayed each day and were so very happy to be there. To this day, I thank God for her.
