Location. 42° 6.473′ N, 83° 6.789′ W. Marker is in Amherstburg, Ontario, in Essex County. Marker can be reached from Laird Avenue South just south of Elm Avenue, on the right when traveling south. Click for map. This historical marker is located almost immediately in front of the Fort Malden National Historic Site Visitor Centre (just to the left of the front entrance door). Marker is in this post office area: Amherstburg, Ontario N9V 1X5, Canada.
