1. Manchester Spanish-American War Memorial Marker
Inscription. This monument erected by the city of Manchester to her sons who on land and sea defended the nation's honor in the war with Spain, the insurrection in the Philippines and the China Relief Expedition 1898-1902 Dedicated July 4, 1929.

2. Manchester Spanish-American War Memorial Cross
Although this small park is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ben Richard Bronstein, Lieutenant in the Naval Medical Corps, New Hampshire's first Naval Officer to die in WWII, the monument to Spanish-American veterans is the largest monument here.


The memorial is a life-size stature of a soldier standing with rifle in hand, mounted on a granite plinth with the two plaques attached.
