In the year 1841
The Reverend Lucien Galtier

the Chapel of Saint Paul

—————————
In 1841 and in the month of October
I caused some logs to be cut, prepared
and put up and soon after a poor church
of logs and fitted so as to remind one
of the Stable of Bethlehem was built.

formed. This church thus remained
dedicated to Saint Paul and I
expressed the wish to call
the place by no other name.

Father Lucien Galtier in 1864
