1. The Henry Boose site Marker
Inscription. In 1959 this area was discovered to be an almost four thousand year old burial ground of the Glacial Kame People-named for the distinctive gravel elevations in which their dead were buried. The area was once a farm owned by Henry Boose, an early resident of Allen County.
 
Erected 1976 by Allen County Bicentennial Commission.
 
Location. 40° 47.325′ N, 84° 5.807′ W. Marker is in Lima, Ohio, in Allen County. Marker is on Bluelick Road 0.1 miles west of Sugar Street, on the right when traveling west. Click for map. Marker is in this post office area: Lima OH 45805, United States of America.
