1. Rose Hill Cemetery Marker
Inscription. Established in 1861 on land given to the city of Brookhaven by Rev. Milton J. Whitworth, founder of Whitworth College, this cemetery is among Brookhaven's first and largest burial grounds. Rose Hill Cemetery is the final resting place for over 5,000 people, including 22 unknown Confederate soldiers.
 
Erected 2012 by Mississippi Department of Archives and History.

Location. 31° 34.665′ N, 90° 26.105′ W. Marker is in Brookhaven, Mississippi, in Lincoln County.
